This semester, the S.C. Lee Jr. High bands earned high marks at UIL competition. The symphonic band earned an "Excellent" rating and a unanimous "Superior" rating in sight reading. The wind ensemble earned unanimous "Superior" ratings on-stage and in sight reading!

Hettie Halstead 4th-grader Dominique Woods recently redeemed his positive behavior incentive (PBIS) points to eat lunch with assistant principal Ms. Bobbie Green. Students earn points for positive behaviors and can redeem them for prizes at several campuses!
Copperas Cove HS AVID recently volunteered at the 3rd-annual Ronnie Viss Memorial Kids Day, helping with the yard games and the bounce house.

Mrs. Linda Lapierre and students Rileigh Hudson and Allayna Roan from CCHS recently finished a painting of the Avenue E campus, now Crossroads High School, for display in the library.
They did a great job!
ICYMI | At April's regular Board of Trustees meeting, the district recognized several groups for their excellence.
The CCHS girls powerlifting team won the 6A regional championship and had 8 state qualifiers, 3 individual regional champions and 10 medalists.
CCHS Wrestling finished with 10 regional qualifiers and 4 state qualifiers. Erinn Sewell finished as State Runner-up.
CCHS Swimming & Diving finished with 12 regional qualifiers.
CCHS 9th-grade boys basketball finished its 3rd consecutive undefeated district championship season.
CCHS girls soccer qualified for the 6A state playoffs.
CCJHS 8th-grade girls basketball "A" team finished as undefeated district champions in back-to-back seasons.
And, Derek Chase & Matt Thompson were recognized for their efforts in improvements to Lea Ledger Auditorium at a substantial savings to the district.
