Public Information Requests

The Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) gives individuals the right to request access to public information. Public information refers to information that is written, provided, collected, assembled, or maintained under a law or ordinance in connection with the transaction of official business. Certain restrictions apply to the disclosure of certain information and may involve the Texas Attorney General for further review.

The District is required to treat all requestors uniformly, so there are three options for submitting a public information request to the District. Using any of these three methods will allow the District to process your request in a much timelier manner. Govt. code 552.234(d) states that when the District is not required to respond to any requests not received by one of the following designated and approved methods:

Option 1:  Public information requests may be submitted in writing, via email, to ccisdcommunications@ccisd.com.

Option 2:  Written requests may be submitted via U.S. Mail or other delivery service to or delivered in person to:

Copperas Cove ISD
Attention: Public Information Officer

Option 3:  Requests may be submitted by using the form below.
