“Copperas Cove ISD continues to prove itself to be the district of choice in central Texas and the district in our area to lead the way,” said Superintendent Dr. Brent Hawkins. “When you review our district’s scores, we are beating the state average in almost every subject and I think that is evident in these scores. This is a testament to the wonderful instructional staff, starting first and foremost with our wonderful teachers, all the way up to our Instructional Services staff, which I would put against any curriculum staff in Texas.”

Additional information on these ratings & achievements by the students of Copperas Cove ISD can be found in the Annual District Performance Report, posted to the Superintendent page on the district website.

“CCISD students and staff continue to lead the way in central Texas with learning and innovation,” said Deputy Superintendent for Instructional Services Amanda Crawley. “I am so proud of our students’ continued success. CCISD has the very best in the way of curriculum and our teachers provide outstanding instruction on a daily basis. The supports for teachers in CCISD are strong and it shows when our students get to these standardized tests, demonstrating our students truly have strong foundational knowledge in math, reading, science and history.”

Hawkins continued, “I hope our community sees that we have teachers who will stop at nothing to ensure the growth of our students. Every single person in Copperas Cove should be proud of what their students have been able to achieve. We will continue to ensure every student in our district has the opportunities they need for life beyond high school, including the expansion of our Dual Credit and Career & Technical Education programs. We will continue to work toward that “A” rating and never stop working to improve as a district.”
