From clay to color!

Our Art 1 students are bringing their personal ceramic totem poles to life—stacking stories, symbols, and serious creativity in every layer. Each pole is as unique as the artist behind it, and the results are nothing short of totem-ally awesome. Proud of the imagination and craftsmanship on display at Copperas Cove High School!

Before the Holiday Break, our AP Physics 1 students wrapped up the semester with an exciting hands-on project — Rube Goldberg Machines!

Using mostly cardboard and marbles, student pairs designed individual sections of a larger machine, each demonstrating and calculating two physics concepts learned this semester, including forces, friction, work, energy, momentum, and kinematics. Afterward, the class worked together to connect their parts into one giant contraption that brought physics to life in a creative (and fun!) way.

Check out the pictures to see teamwork, problem-solving, and physics in action at Copperas Cove High School!
